Ladies and Gentlemen, There will be a significant decrease in the amount of blogging on the Kiwi Crossing website due to academic pressures and time constraints.
Good morning 7am! :/ I got up early today to get my stats hw done before it was due. Then go to stats lecture. Work on Stats hw again. Then I went home for lunch and discovered I could have pasta for lunch and nothing else...I only had pasta. I wanted to start my laundry but there was no detergent. I resorted to Facebook and talked to Anne and Dad. Then Kelly skyped and told me her big news!!! KELLY IS GETTING MARRIED TO MY COUSIN!!!!!!!!!!! LANCE IS MARRYING MY ROOMMATE/BEST FRIEND!!!!!!!! Ok so we all knew it was coming but now she has a ring on her finger and it’s official! :D I am so happy for them!! Kelly is going to be double related to me....she couldn’t get rid of me if she tried!! So excited!
I had spent an disgusting amount of time on the net (internet) so I finally peeled myself away to go grocery shopping. I walked to the grocery store and bought just about all the heaviest things there....potatoes, carrots, almonds, milk, flour, sugar, brown sugar, tomato sauce, oranges, chocolate chips, butter, chicken, laundry soap and various other lighter items. It was a long walk home with that load. Then I busted out the Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chip cookie recipe and baked up a storm :) They turned out cakey...which is weird. I totally melted the butter and it ended up melting all the sugar (which has never happened to me before), I mixed it by hand and the chocolate chips weren’t Nestle Tollhouse brand. I didn’t have high hopes, but they turned out pretty well! I took a few to the neighbors and then took a bunch to the geology building. I have to start working on this Borland Project (and stats and the Foram project....blah blah blah) but alas when I went to the geo building all my friends were there....so we ate cookies, caught up on each other’s breaks, goofed off and barely got anything done :)
Then a late night and an early morning...Story of my life.
