RUGBY!!! Go Blues!!

The rugby match was incredible!! It was the Auckland Blues against the Wellington Hurricanes. We got a little face paint, like the stripes under you eyes, and it was blue and white. So we rooted for the Auckland Blues. They lost. :) but it was so interesting to learn about rugby. Everyone really likes to talk about it, so it was easy to ask question and get someone to give detailed answers. I learned a ton. Rugby has so many rules and facets, it’s intriguing. I’m pretty sure rugby is in my top 3 favorite sports....soccer, hockey, rugby. At this point at least.
In the bus on the way to the game I met a guy named Rob (I think) who is from Kansas, goes to school at UC and HE IS GOING TO THE SAME UNIVERSITY AS ME!! He wasn’t a quality gentleman but maybe I’ll see him around campus and recognize him. I already have a friend at school :) kinda.
I held the bar for bus limbo on the way back from the game, a girl from NY won. We also played telephone. The DJ/leader person was welsh and really funny...I haven’t played telephone in quite some time :)
I had a very interesting conversation with a gentleman (and I use that word loosely) about why I didn’t drink. He was very smart and called me out for using a circular argument. It was a really fun conversation and it was interesting to see what arguments he used to drink (which I think is fine) and which ones he insinuated to get drunk.
I said goodbye to Cassandra, Teresa and Laura :( It was really sad, but we all have each others phone numbers and if they are ever in Dunedin they are going to call me! I’m really glad I met them and I think it is for a definite reason. Cassandra said she felt like she had known us for a really long time already. That happens when you go somewhere and know absolutely no one.

This will be a very short night and I will meet the IFSA group at the Auckland airport. On to new things!!

Goodbye Auckland, it was a pleasure....Hello IFSA orientation!
