FIRST POST!

Hey!

I'm in LAX with Dad, my flight leaves in a few hours to Auckland International Airport (AKL). WooHoo! His flight leaves in a few hours to go back to PDX. :)

My mom and dad took me to the airport this morning and Kaile and Anne met us there. It was so good to be with people I love before I leave. Thanks! I am convinced that this is going to be no different than me going to Ohio for everyone in the states....except I'm BLOGGING. :) NBD.

So the future holds a very long flight (with good books and music), a 45 min bus ride to a hostel on the water front, hostel, 3 days of exploring Auckland, then meeting the IFSA kids for orientation. Hopefully I will write again before then so you all know I am alive. I will be but you won't know.
